ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY
Beta Sigma Phi is a social and cultural sorority. Our motto is "Life, Learning, & Friendship." Our chapter takes those words seriously- we live our life, learn every day, and value each other for our friendships. Even as a new chapter, we make every effort to be each other's forever friends. Our growth as individuals only helps us grow together.
Our sorority was formed in 1931 by Walter Ross. With his guidance, Beta Sigma Phi expanded internationally and currently has over 12,500 chapters. The sorority was founded for the social, cultural, and civic enrichment of its members. The letters, "Beta," "Sigma," and "Phi" were the first letters of the Greek words for life, learning, and friendship.
Our theme this year is "90 Years to Shine."
